My family and I decided that we would go for a vacation to Rarotonga for Christmas 2009. My partner and I had been engaged for 2 years and I joked to a workmate that I’d get married while holidaying. “Why not?” she said, and that was enough for me to enquire.

The resort we were staying at offered wedding packages but due to the lack of communication I started looking elsewhere. I then found Wedded Bliss and the packages Andrea offered were great and cheap considering what you would pay in N.Z for half of what she offers.

I emailed her and right from my first initial email I knew Andrea was the wedding planner I needed! The communication between her and I was fantastic, any question I had she would answer, she even let me know when she was going on holiday! I thought that was fab!

The Big Day arrived, we couldn’t believe it, we were getting married! With our 3 girls we went for a morning of driving around the island, and when I got back to my room Bianca the stylist showed up and reality set in, my goodness I’m getting married today! The atmosphere was so relaxed and calm, Bianca is lovely, Andrea popped in and out of the room, helping me get my girls ready, she was like family! Then Hinoi showed up and began his clicking magic, I was so impressed with his eye for detail, his creativeness and his help!

We rocked up to the beach, the day was perfect, the weather amazing and the string band fantastic. We had the ceremony on the beach and the cutting of the cake, we sat and waited for a short time until our bus picked us up for our reception at a cultural show that Andrea organised for us! It was a surreal day!

I look at the photos we have every day to remind myself it was my wedding - it was real not a dream! Andrea is a fantastic woman; she is great at her job and will go to the ends of the earth to ensure your day is fantastic.

Thank you so much Andrea, you and your team made our day so beautiful I really can’t express my thanks. You really are wonderful, genuine and a crack up! If I was to marry again I would go back, too bad I won’t be, but perhaps you do anniversaries??

Through Andrea’s wonderful work, dedication and expertise we had the most unforgettable and perfect wedding imaginable.

From the very beginning it was obvious that Andrea was committed to providing the best service by ensuring easy communication throughout the lead-up.   We had regular emails and updates and no question was too big or too small.  Andrea was always prompt with her replies and always reassuring and calm (which is a massive positive when you’re the anxious bride).

Once we arrived in the Cook Islands, Andrea met with us to run through everything and to make any changes we wanted.  We were both surprised at how thorough, well planned and to our exact liking everything was.  On the big day Andrea was there to guide us and to ensure all went smoothly on the day.  And of course it did.  We just had to turn up, relax and enjoy our day.  Andrea’s team were fantastic, the hair stylist, videographer and photographer were completely professional and an absolute pleasure to work with.  Everyone had such a relaxed and friendly attitude.

Our only wish is that we could relive the day again!  We had so much fun throughout the day, there was no stress, it was just a relaxed and serene atmosphere.  There is also the bonus of being in paradise, Rarotonga is stunning!

We would completely recommend planning your wedding through Wedded Bliss.  It was the best decision we made.  We could go on forever but we could never truly explain just how perfect our day was.  It was more than we could have ever dreamed and we are so thankful to Andrea for giving us not only this amazingly gorgeous wedding but also the most beautiful memories that will last forever.

Sunshine, blue skies, crystal clear water, perfect weather, friends and family together; all the other ingredients were there but Andrea’s local knowledge, organization and hard work provided the ‘icing on the cake’ at our wedding in Rarotonga. Wedded Bliss is a very apt name for Andrea’s company; it sums up our experience of our wedding in Rarotonga with Andrea as our wedding planner. But Andrea not only planned our wedding; she organized a cocktail party two days before and a luncheon the day after the wedding, all functions with a guest list of 65.

Although we were initially concerned we would have problems organizing a long distance wedding, throughout the entire process Andrea kept us really well informed via email; looking back from our perspective it’s surprising how easy and stress free the organization was. Once we arrived in Rarotonga, Andrea scheduled a meeting for the following morning where we went through all the elements of the cocktail party, the wedding and the luncheon and sorted the few final details. Then for the next few days we were able to relax and enjoy beautiful Rarotonga and the company of our friends and family. Andrea took all the stress and worry out of the events we held and allowed us to enjoy the moment, the place and the people who are special to us.

Island Bay Villas was our choice as the venue for our wedding: we were able to have all functions on site and the house provided a great venue for entertaining and was easy to work from for bar staff and caterers. Melinda from Pacific Bride, hair and makeup artist, worked her magic. Andrea organized a magical transformation of the beach where the ceremony was to be held. With the beach swept clean (yes swept!), a simple gazebo with fabric flowing in the breeze and beautiful gardenia flowers all around, it looked fantastic.

As we look back on that week, the three functions: the cocktail party, the wedding and the luncheon, we marvel at how easily it all came together and how little stress and fuss there was. This was because of Andrea’s organization; every small detail was exactly as we wanted it. We realized soon after arriving in Rarotonga to listen to and accept Andrea’s suggestions. Having organized hundreds of weddings in Rarotonga over the last few years, Andrea knows what she is talking about and has the undoubted expertise in this area she made everything happen on time and just as we wanted it. Her calm, professional and pleasant manner belied all the effort she made and she got stuck in and was prepared to do the hard work as well.

Through Andrea’s expertise and hard work we have magical memories of our very special day. Thank you so much Andrea.

“What an awesome day” is all we could say for days after our wedding, and we are still saying it.

We are so glad we chose Andrea to help arrange our wedding. She was the most organised person, who didn’t seem to mind my constant emails with numerous questions and requests – nothing was too hard. Even when awaking on the wedding day and the wind was blowing furiously she was so calm, I was ready to have a complete change of plans and she was happy to accommodate my wishes. Luckily it didn’t come to that, Andrea made a suggestion that worked and despite the wind she made our day the most special and gorgeous day.

Bianca did a great job with my hair and makeup, I’m still amazed at the job she did with my hair, it looked amazing.

Hinoi did a fantastic job with the photos and we got some great ones for our wall that are always commented on by our friends.

We ended up having a large wedding party of 65 people and everyone had the time of their lives. A number of people even commented that it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andrea as a wedding planner or any type of event planner for that matter. Her attention to detail is amazing and no detail is too small.

We can't thank you enough for all you amazing help putting our wedding together, our day was simply sensational. I never believed that getting married could be so much fun and our day was above & beyond what we could ever have hoped for.

Bianca did an exceptional job of our hair & make up....hard to imagine I wear gum boots & shorts to work every day, no ounce of make up in sight & hair always pinned back in a tie; JK was the coolest dude. He made us all so welcome & at ease. I enjoyed the laughs during the ceremony & the tide coming in!! Thanks for convincing him to delay the ceremony by half an hour to allow the rain to stop & let us live our dream of a simple ceremony on the beach! Hinoi’s photo's were & still are fantastic & adorn our walls at home. They are an amazing memory & done with such professionalism. Our photos were definitely one of the funniest parts of the day with lots of laughter, few serious photos & even running over the chicken that everyone so delicately covered up....I had no idea!!!! (Our parasols are probably still in the boot of his car)!

It's hard to find the words to thank you enough for everything that you did, you were certainly an integral part of our day from beginning to end. Thank you for all the running around, all the emails & for making my big day as stress free as I could ever have imagined. Also, thanks to Pare for sweeping the beach & making it all look so tidy despite the tide bringing it all back in again!

The only downside was that our day was simply too short, we wish we could do it all again, our day went far too quickly. So, despite the late thanks, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for a truly phenomenal day. She responds quickly to e mails, no matter how numerous, and, when you get to the island and have your “pre wedding meeting” with her, her welcoming and friendly personality and great sense of humour immediately puts you at ease. There is zero stress. Your wedding day runs like clockwork. You don’t have to think about anything.
